When installing make sure you remove all the foam and tape and to slide in the wall case add a little lotion :-) it will slide right in.

I have purchased several of these units and each year GE makes improvements ie;adding remote controls etc.

the best feature is one that saves you money, and with the timer feature you can easily set the a/c to start before you arrive home instead of having it on when you leave in the morning.

First I would like to say that the unit itself is wonderful. Second it arrived very quickly from the East coast to Minneapolis, MN.

This unit replaced an older, very similar GE Air Conditioner. It is a WALL unit, not a window unit. Years ago when I purchased my old unit, it was extremely difficult to find wall air conditioners. To my surprise, Abt had a number of units to choose...

I have 8 units in my apartment building. I have replaced all the air conditioners over the last few years. This one is the best.

This air conditioner did not even cool my living room, not even a little. It did not work properly and I tried two different ones of this same model by GE. Terrible product.
