I think that a comparable BTU window unit would do a better job of cooling the room, if you could fit one. Obviously, a lot more hassle to install though and not portable

1. It cools down my family room 20'x15' pretty fast. Although it can only bring down the temperature to average 80F, it still feel comfortable ; 2. It is really light weight and portable ; 3. Power consumption is low
