The Midea is a very bad choice for 10,000 BTU's it will only cool a small area. Its to loud sounds like a Generator it will drive you nuts!! I would go with a window unit if at all possible a 8,000 Btu window air conditioner will work twice as fast...

I was at Sears at tested all portable air conditioners.  This one for the price was the best cooling conditioner.  I highly recommend.
