Unit works very well and puts out a lot of cold air. Louvers can be aimed up to blow the air acorss the romm

Very, very noisy, even on low speed. The compressor is fairly quiet. It is the blower that makes all the racket

Loud. Put it in a bed room and good luck sleeping.. better turn it on like an hr before bed time so it sets goes off due to temp control

Very, very loud. I can't believe Sharp would manufacture an air conditioner that is so loud you can't watch TV or talk on phone

Moves air very well. In five minutes it can effectively cool a room within its stated dimensions. It is energy star compliant but the amount of power this thing needs probably counteracts the effeciency

Man is it loud. I took two eggs off just because of the noise. The noise can only be attributed to the power of this thing. 8000 btus is a lot of power

Produces cool air

It is unbelievably loud. You cannot make conversation, watch TV, etc. when this is on. The noise level makes this AC completely useless for residential use. And they won't let you return it
