Very nice!

I do a lot of gaming on my laptop, and this allows me to continue gaming into the wee hours of the night while the kids are sleeping without loosing the ever important 5.1 sound setup. Don't get me wrong, this doesn't hold a candle to my actual...

True 5.1 Surround ; USB or 3.5mm ; Very_ solid build quality. Really feels like a premium product ; Decent support on their website. The FAQ is a fun read ; Pretty comfortable considering you're strapping something the size of a Buick to your head

May be a bit large/bulky for some people ; Will probably generate chuckles from friends/co-workers ; People constantly asking if you could 'drop some beats' for them ; It may require 2 USB ports for power

I don't understand why people hate this headset

Continued... As far as the Mic goes, I got everything set up in TeamSpeak to where the Mic is fine and I'm not yelling into it. There are some settings in driver to boost the Mic's volume and set the sample rate (Vol: maxed - Sample Rate: 48 Khz). I...

Great headset that doesn't hurt my head after hours of playing. The mic sounds good and isn't overly squelched like others claim. Please read my full review below

None at this time ; I'm starting my Other Thoughts here since I didn't have enough room in the box below ; People have said that it sucks for listening to music, but I haven't found that to be the case. Download the most up to date drivers from the CM...

CM Sirus

First off, the person "N/A" who commented earlier on static in his mic is having this issue BECAUSE he put his mic boost at +30, which made his mic so super sensitive that it was causing static. That aside, after using several different types of 5.1...

5.1 Surround (even though there are technically 2 subs) ; Not virtual surround (i'll explain this later) ; Nice Microphone ; I like being able to use USB OR Analog audio connections ; Comfort (when compared to the likes of Turtle Beach HPA/Ear Force...

Price (when compared to Turtle Beach Z6A, and Tritton PC510 HDA) ; Technology (will explain more later as well)

Cooler Master SGH-6000-KK5R1 Circumaural Storm Sirus Headset - 5.1 channel

Overall an extremely good headset, which is let down by its focus on USB connectivity - which I was unaware of before I bought it. If it had the option of using the 3.5mm jacks with the sound controller, I'd be recommending it to everyone I know, but...

Very well built, these headphones have some weight to them, lives up to CoolerMaster's push in recent years to make high-end, high quality products ; The volume controller works very well, and was easily integrated with my usage (gaming, and non-gaming...

Cannot use the volume controller if using the 3.5mm jacks, it is only on their USB connection (which is a shame, since I have a creative X-Fi) ; The software leaves a lot to be desired when compared to other control software for sound (X-Fi's SB...

Pretty Good, But Do Not Buy

I'm finding lately that most of these "gaming" headsets are just awful. No bass, sound that isn't full, poor driver software, and poor clarity in mids. Won't name names, but I've used 5 from popular manufacturers. Answer: don't buy a gaming headset....

I'm writing this review because I find that most reviews are not that great for headsets ; Let me start with this. It's a pretty good headset. And a fantastic job for a company's first attempt. It has great bass. I find most of these "gaming" headsets...

Terrible sound for games--for a *gaming* headset. It does have the bass fullness. But it doesn't generate the mid levels well at all. And it doesn't feel like it generates all the intended audio. I've picked up more sounds from earbuds ($40 good...

These were hard to find but worth the effort

I searched for several months for a solid pair of great headphones and looked at everything I could get my hands on. While I love Razer and Logitech in general, Cooler Master has upped them on this product. I rarely write reviews, but want to try...

True 5.1 surround is excellent and beats the other models I tested. Far superior surround when compared to the simulated 7.1 surround that Logitech and Razer offer ; I tested several other sets trying to find the best surround experience for gaming...

After long play sessions, the lack of breathable ear cups can be annoying ; Also was very hard to find. I lucked out with Newegg but was a bit concerned I wouldn't be able to try these out until they were delivered. Risk was worth it

More then what i thought. but hidden settings

People say mic is to low. SOLUTION: go into software that comes /downloaded for head set go into setting and turn it up. the system has it auto set to around 50%. So fix that and that's it. That seems like to be most complaints on this head set. ...

Sounds grate. Very conformable and can be warm for hours on end. option between cloth or leather ear peaces. The hokey puck "what i call it" is actually very useful. Friends say mike is very clear and crisp

None really but if i had to pick i would say at times if head set is not making a well connection it will make a cracking sound but just set it in right and you are fine

interesting crossroads for it and competition

Simple suggestion for product improvement since I know CM reads these posts. A very easy fix would be to sell a second puck add on with no internal independent sound card circuitry but with capability of puck controls ie. surround, center, bass,...

This is an excellent 5.1 headset. Gaming is awesome and music is good. The directionality is spot on. Very comfortable for long extended sessions even if you have a large head (like my self). Command puck is weighted for non movement on a table ( a...

Bass production compared to TB HPA2's is less. I haven't tried the z6a's so I can't compare. Mic is less than stellar as others have reported, however, when directly plugged to sound card its is much better which leads to next problem the strength of...

Cooler Master Storm Sirus

This is Cooler Master's first headset and it is great. It has only one problem - microphone functionality in USB mode. I hope this is fixed in future firmware updates. I would have liked to see larger drivers, but oh well. It still sounds excellent.

Very solid build quality with a nice heft to it ; Despite the heft, it's the most comfortable headset I've ever worn. Both pads go right over your ears, and the top padding adds a ton of relief ; 5.1 surround support with 7.1 emulator ; Fantastic...

Drivers are only 30mm, and 40mm for the sub... I would have liked to see 50mm all around and maybe even 60mm for the sub ; Not a true 7.1 headset but that's obvious ; Microphone barely works when in USB mode. If you use it a lot, you'll have to...

Great Sound

Good headphones and good mic I would recommend buying product.

Incredible sound! Very rugged, from the cables to overall construction. Being able to change volume for each separate inner speaker is nice. Bass sounds tremendous as well as sound effects while playing games. Used these while playing Battlefield 3...

Software overall is almost pointless. Using the usb plugs will give you clicking noises every once and a while. I even used my motherboards usb adapter that I plugged right into the board and still did not help. The other connectors it comes with plug...
