I used Vista's sound adjustment and maxed out the microphone volume. Works perfectly with Ventrillo set at half volume, which is all I'm going to use the mic for.

I bought 2 and only opened 1. Maybe I have a dud, since others liked the mic. But I'm afraid to open the other.
