The overall reputation of this brand is excellent. I switched from Hamilton Beach to Cuisinart and I'm so glad I did. Everything is of good quality except for the whisk.

This mixer replace an older Cuisinart 7-Speed mixer. My old mixer was very reliable but I wore out the motor trying to mix heavy bread dough.

As soon as I got this mixer in the mail , we used it. I was surprised to see digital image but we figured it out right away . I have several Cuisanart products that hold up well over time. I expect this one will too.
