Very good unit

It has a little bit of a learning curve......not hard

Works great, has everything included like a new unit. Makes great hard and soft boiled eggs.

The alarm sound is the same tone as a standard alarm clock. Not a real con but its not a pleasant sound.

Makes a bunch of eggs and is always consistent. Good looking.

Not many cons. Only poaches three at a time, but will hard/soft boil more than that.

Holds 7 "boiled" eggs at once. Actually it steams them, and you pierce the tops with the included water measuring cup (has strudy lance on the bottom). I love not having any problem peeling the eggs afterwards.

Poached eggs not the best: Can only do 3 at a time. Who makes 3 poached eggs at once? 2 or 4 seem normal to me. Also the poached egg insert is made of thick plastic, so the tops of the eggs get done well, with the bottoms still a little raw.

Best hard boiled eggs I have ever made. Granted, I made some really awful ones, exploding ones or not yet cooked.. This was quick and simple. Cook seven at a time. I admit I am not making any other style, but then I didn't buy to do so.

None. Others complained about the warping of the egg holder - I have not seen this on several uses now. There is no built-in timer like my crockpot so don't forget about it and it won't happen.
