It comes out of the bottle like a lotion but almost liquifies once it is on uour hair. You think you havent put enough on but I use the same as I normally would. The trick is to make sure you have worked it thru your hair since you cant really feel it....

This shampoo and rinse are perfect for my short, washed daily, hair. The shampoo and rinse work great together to leave my hair clean and soft, without over drying-out of over-conditioning. Thanks Dermalogica!

I like the smell but it doesn't coat hair as easily as some other rinse I've tried unless use a lot each wash. I need to use TWO bottles of the rinse with a one bottle of shampoo.
