I looked at all those on Argos website that resembled mine that broke, in design & features and chose a known brand with a sensible price. They are ok but there is better out there. The edges are rounder than my old ones so hair tends to curl under too...

Easy to use. Very quick to heat up and a great finish.

I quite like the design but looked a bit small when compared with my old hair staightener. I decided to return it and look for something different.

The heating plates of these straighteners are a lot smaller than I expected. Because of how small they are hair also seems to catch in the plastic part of the straighteners. OK but wouldn't buy again

Absolutely love them. They've made such a massive difference to my hair. More smooth and sleek. Warm up time is great. Floating plates are great if u have some split ends it doesn't pull at ur hair like other models. Recommend them all the way....

As good as GHD's/Cloud Nine and a fraction of the price.

Bought these to replace old GHD's. Half price and at £27.99, excellent for price. Only the heat dial I would have preferrred a click switch than dial, but mechanically they do the job. Beware they are extremely hot on top setting. Lighter to hold also...

The main problem with these straighteners is that they snag and pull the hair making them very uncomfortable to use. I wouldn't recommend them.

I've used ghd straighteners for years so when they broke i thought something less expensive!read the reviews of these and they were in the sale and believe me they are just as good as ghd,s with my wavy hair id say there better I will never buy ghd...

Quick to heat up and cool down. Left my hair pretty straight the first time I used them. Second time even better as adjusted the temp and speed I used. Good great buy.
