Good stuff. Will recommend it to the Komrads.

The dot setting was the best. The other settings (hand pointing, arrow, line and circle are a little hard to see on the screen because they are not very clear and sharp.

Special light patterns are what differentiates this pointer from its lower cost cousins. However, the special patterns are too light in normal business use to be effective- switched back to simple dot pattern, and there it will stay.

Use for teaching, hard to see the various laser shapes unless a very dark room. It seemed like it would have been brighter and more robust laser from the weight and size?

It's tragic when you spend the most amount of money you can on a staples product like this laser pointer, and then I have to end up using an friends keychain laser pointer that was far superior. He paid $3.99 for his. This is a rip off.
