Great all-around mouse!

I wish the lighting came in different colors, or even customize-able colors to match any setup color scheme, but that's just a wish, not a complaint or usage issue.

I am a heavy computer user, and this mouse does the job for me very well. On a normal day, I can be doing anything from web browsing to document/web creation to gaming to music recording, and this mouse performs well in everything ; The mouse feels...

There are not many user-friendly customization options in the downloadable SteelSeries Engine, unless you are familiar with traditional keyboard shortcuts. For instance, in my everyday-use profile, I have the two side keys programmed to "copy" and...

Great Mid Range Mouse

I've owned this mouse for nearly a year and it's very very nice. The price is good, and as someone with large hands I can approve. I prefer optical mice over laser, and this one also comes with adjustable settings via the Steelseries engine. Software...

Lightweight, small, fits nicely in the hand, perfect for claw grip, responsive on most any surface

Might be too small for some giant hands

The Best Mouse Ever 2.0

This thing really is fantastic for the same reasons that the archaic Intellimouse Optical was. It's the perfect size and weight, and it has absolutely perfect button size and placement for those who like to use all five fingers for their mousing...

This thing is basically the Steve Austin of optical mice. It looks like it was rebuilt from the ashes of the Microsoft Intellimouse Optical that I fell in love with more than a decade ago. Only this is better. Faster. More accurate. The shielded USB...

except for the stupid orange glow from the scroll wheel. Gaudy, lighted gaming computers and peripherals stopped being cool when I was 18. I'm old. Shmeh

Kinda weak...

My biggest gripe has to be the switches. They're awfully stiff compared to any other mouse Ive used. The kinzu v2 and Sensei have a much softer feel, and a better tactile response. Luckily Steelseries is offering real teflon feet with registration...

Unique color scheme, Nice size for average sized hands (Right in between the Kinzu and Sensei, similar to intellimouse 1.1), Great feel for fingertip or claw grippers but large enough to be palmed as well

Uses stiff cheap feeling TTC switches as opposed to the Omron switches used in the Sensei and Kinzu v2, low quality plastic feet which are terrible on any cloth pad, Side buttons are fairly easy to accidentally click, 1600 and 3200 dpi settings are...

Pretty nice mouse. adjustable on the fly. feels good in the palm of your hand. if you do not fancy the plastic slider feet it comees with, steel series is giving away teflon feet replacements for this mouse free.(with serial#)

for fifty bucks wish there was a couple more buttons
