I've had the opportunity to test out VisionTek's XG6 gaming mouse for a little while now, and while I'd never really thought I'd need anything other than my trusty Logitech MX 700 for all my mousing needs, I'm starting to think otherwise.

The mouse lacks proper ergonomics. This is due to the way they have to cram in all the buttons and joysticks. If it has a neutral position for your thumb and 4th finger it might be ok, but it's impossible to lift it up as it is. I also have big hands...

I got the mouse because of the large number of buttons it had and I like a mouse with a lot of buttons. It certainly delivered in that area and was nice to be able to map them all to keystrokes. The DPI adjustment was nice too and it has an optional...

Where to start...Firstly, the scroll wheel is much closer to the center of the mouse than most of us are used to and it's hard to get used to bending your finger enough to reach it. The joystick buttons are not ideally placed. It's difficult or...

Thanks, newegg for listing such a cool mouse! oohhh, video reviews? I'm going to have to try that later.

I just acquired the Sandio version of this mouse (the original manufacturer, as Visiontek rebranded this one) and I've gotta say, this this is amazing. The three joysticks are exceptionally useful in games, as you can bind a total of 12 keyboard keys...

Only con I see is that it's a rediculously huge mouse, so you kinda hafta relearn how to hold a mouse. I love all the buttons so much that I'll make do. Oh, and if you get the Sandio version with all the lights on it, it may actually max out a USB hub...
