Support at Mustek is not there! If you are looking for a scanner I suggest get one that has support people that want to help!

Would be nice if it came bundled with filing software like it used to be.

Portable, small, functional, cost effective. Ease of installation

Very seldom, it will have problems with the 64 bit drivers and it will have to be unplugged and plugged back in. But at least don't have to reboot

First order did was a dud, and could not get power. Second order did work, but as far as OSX compatibility goes, it was also a dud. I could only scan 1/4 of a normal 8.5x11" document before the feeder would just stop

I was able to get the drivers to install on Windows 7 32bit. It will scan without the software in windows scanner wizard. Mustek will not be my first choice in the future

Doesn't use a power cable, because it is powered by USB

The synchronization with the software and the device sucks. I cant calibrate because when i put in a piece of paper it starts to auto feed and when i open the software to clean and calibrate, it doesnt recognize that the paper is already there. Really...

very handy to copy pictures

 

we used this when we met with a distant cousin to copy her pictures and geneology info. Some of the pictures were clearer than the originals. The product info doesn't tell you that a mini SD card is NOT INCLUDED. Another $15 to $20 to buy that.
