If you think £100 is going to buy you state-of-the-art digital recording, then you'll be disappointed

My LiteOn came from a differant retailer but have used the unit and just love it. Has built in tuner so you can record and watch differant channels

Had to clean the laser once as it stop reading dvds but had to do this to all dvd units at sometime

I give this 5 stars because of the bang for the buck aspect. For 4-9 bucks there isn't much else on the market even in the price range. It works well and does what it is supposed to do. It plays Divx movies too, so that's nice

For the price, I can't expect a lot of extras, but I was a little disappointed in the inputs. The only options are RF and composite video (the single yellow). No component in or even an S-Video in...but again for the price I guess I can't complain

It will not copy my old VHS movies to DVD because of the copy right protection. Would have been nice to make copies because one by one my VCRs are dying
