It is the most connectible unit on the market and had wonderful upscaled picture and sound. Had all the inputs and outputs I would ever need ... also DVD-RAM, and a digital tuner. It did have some annoying operational delay issues I learned to live...
A few days after the warranty ended .... It became a big piece of uselessness!! First the ATSC tuner failed (the analog still worked) ... Now the DVD portion failed too ... Sent to Panasonic service depot kept it for a long period of time ... out of...

Not reliable
My next unit will be a different brand.
Easy to use and set up
I've had 2 of these now and each time the tuner burned out after a year and a half (naturally right after the warranty expired). The units tended to freeze up for no apparent reason and occasionally didn't record a scheduled program

My next unit will be a different brand.

Nice DVD Recorder, but...
Panasonic just didn't give the screw a complete turn on this model.
Records very nicely.
No Eject button on the remote. An HDMI input would have been nice.
