The MFC-J5520 is one of Brother’s “Business Smart Plus Series” models. We have no doubt that the MFP would work nicely in an SMB or home office environment. But while a bit more expensive than many home-oriented models, we think the MFC-J5520DW will be...

-easy set up -quality printing of documents (all I've done so far) -price was right -does everything more expensive printers do for less -scans came back crystal clear.

-I have to get off my rear end to retrieve my documents after printing. They won't shoot across the room to me. -It doesn't make cookies very well, kinda undercooked.

The printer is easy to setup and, for the most part, is easy to use. It has two paper trays (even though I use one since that is what I am used to). The size is great also. The old printer hung off the shelving because of it size, but the J5520DW fits...

When copying two-sided to two-sided, you must use the scanner glass (which is annoying!). You can run around in circles when trying to use the guides to learn about a setting or feature.

Easy to set up, just use the link to download and install the latest software and drivers, especially if using WIN 10

If your printing pictures you'll want to go into custom settings and play with them to get the proper color and graphic settings.

Wife loves it. Easy of use, with many features

Connectivity issues between having both wired and wireless connections, seems to favor one or the other. Not a huge issue, as both connection types require little setup time
