As a long-standing user of a Brother laser, I was keen to check out one of the company's inkjet models. The opportunity arose with the arrival of the MFC-255CW.

A colour A4 photocopy took 40 seconds. Switching to photo printing, I ran tests for both 6 x 4-inch and A4 prints. Using the Normal default setting it took 24 seconds to produce a 4 x 6 colour print. The time increased to 33 seconds with the Fine...

Smart appearance, compact to some printers I've had.easy to slot-in inks, scanner is great, copy I quick. I love the fact that you get to pick speed of printing. If I want a fast ok print out, pick fast print, for better but not best, pick normal fast,...

Haven't come accross any yet. I don't turn mine off just in case it takes a while to warm up again. I leave it in sleep mode, which doesn't appear to use much power.

It's easy to use i have used the black print out ,so far i have printed over 60 pages and no difference in quality done some coloured print outs still using the same cartriges

One of the problems i keep getting is when you fill the paper tray it takes a few times to get it to load,also i havn't been able to get to go wireless yet keeps asking for id number.
