This printer is incredible. With a high capacity toner, it will print around 3000 pages, if not more, compared to 100 per inkjet cartridge. If you haven't switched to a laser printer yet for b/w printing yet, you need to! Have never had streaks or dots...

My lights flicker when the printer comes up from standby mode, suggesting a big power draw ; It's not wireless

I bought this for the scanning function, which works great. Fast easy scans into your choice of formats, I use pdf for my document storage. I'm also very happy with the print performance

I had a little trouble installing the scanner software when I upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit. No problem once I downloaded and used the current drivers/software

The print's quality is very good! The toner is affordable and many, even cheaper, substitution. Solid built and anot bulky as I'd expect from laser printer. All in all, a superb printer

Easy to setup, works flawlessly. Brothers calls it a "trial" toner, but it yields around 1000 copies out of the "standard" 1500. Also, replacement Brothers toner is only 39$. Incredibly good value

None except the plain french sitckers, it would have been appreciated to get a replacable faceplate with french marking (like on my old HP)
