This product is easy to set up, and creates digital files that are of good quality, perhaps lacking in sharpness but with nicely saturated colors. My only complaint is that the resulting file sizes are huge. There is no option to record to divx or xvid...

This product is great. I can now take movies and TV shows from my satellite DVR and record them on MY BOOK portable hard drive. This allows me to play them back at a later time. The playback is with a WD TV live media player. This is true HD playback....

Easy setup. The recorded video is choppy unless you set it to the highest quality, could be my computer. The recorded video is crystal clear, the only down fall is it takes about 9 gigs for a movie.

Not sure why other people have had trouble with this product, Works awesome for me, does EXACTLY what it claims to do. Extremely happy with it and would recommend it to others.
