Very nice printer but not economical

 

The printer overall works very well and is a good choice for some one looking for a cheap wireless printer they won't use very often. For any one who will need to print more than once a week I suggest you keep shopping around.

The overall features of this printer are very nice. I love the wireless and Bluetooth capabilities and the SD card slot. The paper feed also works very well. I have not had one paper jam so far

I have only owned this printer between 1-2 months and only printed about 40 pages through it, but I am already receiving a notification that my black ink is running low. Although the ink cartridges are fairly inexpensive this low of print economy will...

A piece of junk!!!!

 

Gave 1 egg because the lowest choice. 9-2-11 HPs "tech support" tried to get me to pay them $20 to tell me it was a "hardware" issues, really? And wanted to sell me a refurbished one. No way. I am DONE with HP products!

Great in first 4 months

For the price you wont find a better printer

Excellent prininting quality. Love the seperate color ink cartriges. It is great that I am able to print via wireless network from laptop, desktop, and smart phone

It is a little load and takes a minute to boot up

decent printer

 

I didn't buy the lexmark because after reading reviews, the $4.99 black ink cartridges don't last nearly as long as the HP XL ink. (sure it can...if you don't want crisp,clear documents!)

Just over a month and no issues! I love the ease of wireless printing! Fairly quiet...much quieter than my 4 year old printer that it's in my den

I suppose ink will cost a ton but that's the case with all manufacturer's

These C309 models are not the "Photosmart Premium" you want. The recent HP commercials are advertising the C310 model. I bought this printer about 2 weeks before the new C310 was released. Im thinking "big deal, probably just different firmware and...

Quality photos for an "All-in-One" printer

Uses HP 564 ink but you will have to find "old" 564 that are still compatable. LOL ; Don't buy HP 564 ink with "EXCLUSIVELY DESIGNED FOR HP 564 compatible PHOTOSMART and PHOTOSMART PREMIUM printers." this will not work with your printer ; HP messed up...

The wireless is a big plus, any computer connected to the network is able to print. Nice intranet features.

Wireless connectivity. Cheap/inexpensive print cartridges. Easy installation

I run Win 7 64 bit ultimate, the software prompted the heck outta me so needed to click ok often

Great MFC printer

 

I'm amazed at how fast this printer responds with wireless print requests. Anywhere in my house, this thing snaps awake and prints instantly. It is sitting on my desk next to my PC and it behaves as if plugged in via USB.

I had both an hp c895 and an hp c932 for many years; the photosmart replaced both of them. The photosmart's first page out time is slower than either of those printers, period; not a lot, but slower none the less. The photosmart is also noticeably...

Printing and scanning setup was easy from both Windows 7 and Linux (Ubuntu) on my local network; all my computers recognized it right away, and were able to connect and use the printing, whether wireless or wired

Self-testing is noisier than I expected; first page out is slowish; from Linux I cannot print at all if any of the ink cartridges need replacing. See other thoughts for expansion

very frustrating dealing with HP tech support.

Price was good. Had a 209 first that did not work, so they traded it for a 309

Lots of problems with HP tech support. Most of the technies did not know what to do. I had many problems with the 209 and Windows...they advised me to go Windows SP ; Lots of problems with picture quality. The 4 x 6 prints come out blurry and very wet....
