Lexmark X4270 All-In-One

Easy-to-use control panel; generous software; printed user guide; good fax/scan/copy capabilities.

Middling text and image quality; LCD not backlit; no Mac support; pricey replacement ink; long telephone tech-support hold times.

The Lexmark X4270 All-In-One is a good budget-priced standalone for faxing, scanning, and copying, but its printouts might disappoint.

Bad

 

It was okay to begin with, but it didnt really take muych time before we had hassles with it. Mainly weird priniting, and scanning didnt come out that well. I wouldn't buy it again.

The main page for printing was easy to understand. I could adjust pictures and rearrange them for printing.

At the time I had Lexmark, it didn't have a compatible discount ink, so it was expensive to buy replacement ink.

I went throough four of these the first one would continuely freeze up the panels lights would all light up and i could not turn it off unless i pulled it out of the wall. I could not make a call from the machine which is decieving when there is a...

cheap and can send a fax

screen freeze's sometimes if you turn the computer on it will start iteself up but then won't shut off even after you turn pc off, uses so much ink quality is CRAP alignement is somethiing that you can achieve with this machine

I could not send or recieve faxes or calls and was ready to throw it in the bin as no amount of changing around the cables and filters made any difference. Then I read the review dated October 13th 2005. I followed these instructions and it solved the...

Takes up very little space for what it has in features.

Is a little noisier than my previous Lexmark. Could not call out on it or send faxes.

Terrible

 

Do not buy Lexmark. Bought it at the post office as needed simple to use fax machine. Cartridge constantly jammed. Faxes lost Power faulty Too many problems to think about.

Has telephone handset and works with Telstra fax stream

Everything Worst thing I ever bought Do yourself a favour and buy a brother. Choice a printer that has individual colour cartridges. Look for the print speed and reliability factor.

unless you dont connect it to your pc, it works great. otherwise, use your money and get a canon/hp/epson. I bought a canon mp160 and its working marvelous!!

one to one on site replacement. onboard fax, copy and scan very fast. cheap AIO.

scanning to your pc does not work. ended up with nothing. printing 3 pages ended up with 50 pages. sometimes printer freezes halfway. d/c main powersupply to restart printer. expensive print catridges.
