70-300mm F4/5.6 DI LD Macro (Pentax AF)

Really useful for photographing nervous insects such as butterflies from a reasonable distance, where my 90mm macro requires one to get too close. Automatic focussing works really well. Covers the full frame on a Pentax K-1.

As other reviewers have noted, switching back from macro to normal mode is a bit awkward as you have to focus into the normal range before switching.

Good lens at an affordable price.

The images are truly amazing, the quality of the product and images it produces are wonderful. Great value for money.

Have to be very stable with your hands, I would recommend using a a tripod, that way can be assured that the images are clear and brilliant.

Great value for money ad a great zoom lens for people just getting into it

Superb quality photo's auto focus is a joy to use even on macro setting' feels solid but does not weigh as much as expected very little distortion at extreme ranges. All in all worth every penny.

Switching between macro and normal can be a little fiddly, but this is only a very minor irritation.
