Canon EF telephoto zoom lens - 75 mm - 300 mm

For the price I find this lens a good buy. Does what I expected for the price ; pleased with performance

None actually if you know what you are buying and the price you are paying. If your desire is a zoom lens that shoots like a 50mm lens, spend the many extra $$$$ and get you one

This lens is exactly what my wife wanted this year for Christmas. She already knew about the picture clarity, zoom function and auto-focus capability. She popped it onto her Canon Rebel XTI and started taking pictures.

Since it was a known element, I can't say there are any cons. Well, the shortcomings of this lens are not design flaws but limitations as it is a telephoto zoom lens. That just means I have many gift-giving opportunities for the future. Wide angle,...

slow autofocus, average quality pictures especially in lowlight

I love this lens. It stays on my Rebel XTi. Particularly good for shooting sports and portraits. I love the depth of field that is possible with it, it's surprisingly fast when set to autofocus, and I love the color I get with it.

I sometimes wish it would open up more, (in other words a lower aperture), but with proper attention to the lighting conditions, it is an awesome by for the price.

For the price is a OK lens if you don't care about image quality, but if you looking image quality this lens kit its not for you.

You won't find smooth zoom and focus rings, again! image quality is "Mediocre" and sharpness decreases as it zooms from 70mm to 300mm and the build quality is also mediocre.

I really like this zoom for my camera. I can zoom objects up close with this zoom.

If the object is too close, the camera will not let you take the picture.

This is an awesome lens that allows the detail photographer to get the quality their looking for, with dual focus that gives you better depth.
