Great Lens which I now use in 90% of all pictures. My old 12...60 SWD gets more and more dust now....

Great contrast, natural colors, very sharp, good weight for long term usage and image stability on E-1 and E-3.Mechanical stabiltty (Shock and rain).Good handling, although focusing could be a bit quicker. Relatively good optical characteristics...

For the price I am surprised having distortion (although small) in the whole zooming range. Precision of manual focus including noise characteristics could slightly be improved

New E-5 needs a outstanding lens I said to myself and got an affordable copy with warranty here in Switzerland. Usually you don't find NIB copies for that price.

Fast AF ; Tack sharp across the frame ; Weather sealed ; Silent focus ; balances well on the E-5

Only 14-35 (27-70) ; Quite heavy

My most used SHG lensOnly 150/2 are better optically, and maybe 300/2.8The result is stunning images

Optical and Build quality

Problematic/hunting AFDon´t work well with E-3 - had to buy E-30
