After using the Sigma 80-200 f2.8 and obtaining superb results, I went for their Macro offering. Again, an excellent lens, with fast, sharp & quiet auto focus. Hunts a little at really close up work, but I believe manual focus is recommended for this...

I have owned the Nikon 105 and while I haven't compared images side be side the big advantage the Sigma has is as a result of the extra focal length allowing the same sized image to be captured from significantly further away. Big advantage with insects.

have bin using this sigmas beast for long time and have too say its one of my fav. cose amazing portraits with interest blurred background witch looks like circled or twisted hard to explain this ,its only on sigmas 150 mm this bokeh effect i saw....
