Excellent portrait lens - excellent depth of field use.

Light weight. Relatively cheap for quality prime glass. Image quality very good. Most of the time focuses quickly.

Sometimes "hunts" in dappled light. All lensese tend to I know, but this is more prone than most.

Could take good quality pictures on low light without flash.

Bit expensive. May be able to able to take same quality pictures with smaller F stops.
