good linear correction, good edge resolution, once chromatic aberration has been corrected

chromatic abeeration - easilly corrected in Adobe raw I miss the aperture and distance markings which offer the hyperfocal option

Built like a tank and tack sharp

Bit of CA which easily fixed in PP

Really pro built, wide enough, usefull zoom range, heavy and steady, trully colours

images with a bit of flare towards the sun

- Excellent built quality - Focus ring is very smooth - though there is no integrated motor, AF (with Nikon D90) if fast and accurate

Well built with great optics and large aperture thoughout range.

Not super wide on aps c-sized dslr - would recommend 10mm start. Slighty slow focus but fine for landscapes. Fairly heavy.

exelent built quality, a rock. you can not ask more for that price, top level lense. good image quality, barely perceptible vigneting and really sharp. and very important, you wont have any problem to fit any filter.
