Great looking ; Coffee temperature is hot

Took a week to get comfortable with the set up ; Cleaning more involved

The Krups Moka Brew makes the best coffee that I have ever personally brewed. The coffee is rich and full-bodied. It reminds me of the excellent coffee that I had when I visited Belgium

It's somewhat fussy to set up. It's pretty easy to spill water when filling the reservoir and requires careful attention to grind. It takes a long time to brew a full pot, which is only about 36 ounces. This makes it a poor choice to use when...

Made a fantastic cup of coffee

Coffee did not stay too hot for long in the carafe, but no worries if you drank it all right away

Brews at appropriate temperature ; Unique water delivery system that creates a full-flavored brew ; Simple aesthetically-pleasing design ; Easy to descale and clean

Replacement filters hard to find (can use cloth) ; Takes a bit of tweaking to find the right grind/dose combination ; You'll want a carafe to go with it

Most negative points of this product are in my opinion - a bit overhyped. To clean the basket, a couple of taps against the inside garbage pail - the junk falls out then I clean the basket, no big deal. Coffee filters - - - I buy normal cheap coffee...

This product has been discontinued - however it is still available from several sources online. As of this writing, Krups still provdes replacement parts on their website ; It is not as user-friendly as most drip coffeemakers; emptying coffee grounds...

As others have so well reviewed and stated it is a shame there is no automatic turn-off swith. Krups could also be more generous with their 3 sample filter papers. I too made my own without any problem ; Cleaning out is messy
