it records what "it" wants not what you set it to record. Deletes programs on its own. Help line is NO HELP.

This was a Xmas present for my parents who are in their 80s i can report the box is user friendly "that is once the box is set up", there is plenty of record time in the hard drive, the remote and menus on screen are very easy to understand.

We paid for an engineer to set the box up "good job we did" i don't think we would have managed it, even the engineer who came made several attempts to set the box up and find channels, diapointed that there is no facility for program reminders?

Has everything you would want out of it. Does exactly what it says on the tin. All buttons are clear on the remote and I don't know about everyone else but have you ever had a remote that when you push a button, you don't know you've done it unless...

I don't know how it compares to other HD+ boxes but to me it seems like forever for it to boot up, especially when i turn it off at the plug, but maybe that's not the idea though .. Sorry for trying to save on the lecky bills! Also i can't find...
