Once your slingbox unit is out of warranty you'll receive a software update that causes your product to stop working. Either pay the $29.95 tech support fee (potentially EACH time a software update comes out) or enjoy your new paperweight.

watch TV from any internet connected device. How many more pros do you need? There have been 4 critical news issues I was able to watch in real time because of being able to connect to my TV at home from work.

One of mine,I have 2,is an older one and every time I start up the viewer it threatens not to work. So far it has worked every time but it is annoying that it might go away. But I understand they can't keep up with one I bought back around 2000 :))

When it works its great.

Usually doesn't work. I've wasted an enormous amount of time trying every possible thing to get it to work. Sometimes it will work as advertised and I think I've fixed it and then the next time it won't work. 90 days support then $30 paid support

Excellent way to watch or catch up on recorded your shows for ppl that are on the go.

Freezes from time to time but most likely a problem with internet connection, so no big deal. Remote control option when watching on my iphone is difficult and not very responsive, better to watch on desk/laptop.
