Acer CB241HQ

This Acer 4K monitor is a good product for the price, probably one of the cheapest 4K monitors you can buy at the moment. IPS better than TN panel is partly why I purchased this, great viewing angles. No dead pixels so far. Good stand.

Piano finish is annoying, would have preferred matt finish. The monitor is slow as it takes a few seconds to get an image on the screen when powering on. The frame round the monitor is a bit big compared to many monitors nowadays.

Nice display

Lower resolutions don't work well using HDMI or DVI-D with my AMD HD7850. Displayport is perfect.

Fantastic budget IPS 4K monitor, great picture and I love the adjustable stand. Built really well and not flimsy at all. Really sturdy and rigid. The colours are absolutely gorgeous and some sharp and clear.

The plastic is so easily scratched and the bezel is bulky around the edges which is something I don’t really like. The screen is a bit in your face, so some adjustments will be needed. It is far too bright. Started giving me a headache after a while...

Cheapest 4K monitor out there. A great extension for a laptop user, although Thunderbolt 2/3 or HDMI 2.0 is needed for 4K@60Hz.

The foot doesn't lock properly, which leaves the monitor slightly rotated to the left. Default monitor settings are in a weird configuration, requiring a bit of tweaking to get it right. Bezels could be thinner. Overall, don't expect a miracle at this...

As the reviews on this page seem to mix different models this is the 24" (well, 23.6") 4k IPS CB241HQK There aren't many reviews of this model online so I'm going to try to be as thorough as I can without professional colour/motion sensing equipment....

- The supplied DisplayPort cable is rather short - The bezel is larger than and the entire casing is more bulky than you'd really expect from a display in 2017. Bezels/casings have shrunk over time and this is comparable to monitors from 10 years ago....
