Mukii ZIO-P210-BK

 

I got these for long term storage of some secondary backup drives. They don't get opened very often so the hinge is a non-issue for me.

Nice snug fit. When closed I can shake the case and the drive doesn't move inside. Latches closed securely

The hinge looks weak. It's just a paper thin piece of plastic that folds over. It closes securely now, but when you're repeatedly bending a material back and forth on itself it'll break eventually

Great, but no cable access panel

 

You can insert the drive with the connector facing out of the hinged door, and connect them to a cable that way. This would NOT work for a PATA/EIDE drive, as there is a firm foam pad on the inside of the door that squashes against the drive to keep it...

Well constructed, snug container

Unlike the Mukii containers that come bundled with a SATA-USB cable, these do NOT include a rubber cover on the back for plugging a cable into the drives without removing them completely from the case
