A Thing of Beauty

 

I only do light gaming, but it plays them fine.

Quality vs Size was my thought process. This monitor is NICE, combine that with 2 day delivery and NO dead pixels. I'm happy ; Excellent even with the d-sub cable off my 8600gts card

Fabulous monitor

 

Bright, clear images with no reflection of background from the screen.

The speakers are less than fabulous, but I don't really care about that.

NEC Widescreen Black Flat Panel

 

Adjustable height might be nice -- also swivel could be a plus. But, then again, maybe not. I like the stability of this screen.

Lovely, sharp picture. Easy to install.

Haven't tried the speakers so can't comment.

Haven't used speakers, so cannot comment. Control panel software allows on-the-fly adjustment, and includes many test patterns that can be turned on/off.

Very nice picture! No dead pixels. Download the control panel software from NEC--it eliminates the need to use the buttons on the unit. This unit is so bright that I had to turn it down to 70-80% for home use. Very crisp--has the same resolution as...

Obviously this is about 25% more than some competing 20" monitors--but I've been happy with NEC in the past and decided the potentially higher quality was worth it

Clear text

 

great monitor for text, email, office. Very clear, crisp. Weak in the area for rich colors(dvd watching, gaming)

I compaired a few 22 inch wides side by side. This monitor has the clearest text so far. For gaming i noticed that this monitor seamed a little smoother panning on BF2. Better than one of dells 2ms models. Adobe premier looks good on this monitor...

I noticed the center of the screen is brighter than edges if your close to the monitor. The other screens were all more uniform. Its not to annoying though. I noticed this monitor doesnt have that deep rich color that the higher contrast monitors do...
