Seems to overscan by default on windows 8 causing it to run at non-native resolution - correction setting obscure but finally found it.

Stand is admittedly wobbly but if you leave it alone, its great!

Good value for money, as it's specification is on par with monitors that cost more and while it may be cheaper does not lack in either build or image quality. 1080p resolution great for gaming and having loads of extra space on the desktop.

In-built speakers are not very good quality, so headphones or speakers will be needed to enjoy music and games properly.

Probably most monitors do the same now, but I like it switching itself to standby, if I leave it. Haven't really compared picture quality with others but it appears perfectly good to me. The reviews I had read, led me to discount some cheaper monitors,...

Setting up was longer than I had expected, but that was more to do with me not knowing what socket is what on the back of my computer. The stand seemed a little flimsy, but it has not given me any trouble.
