Great pending RMA for blown speaker

 

Give it some time, newegg has always been fine about customer service so im sure this RMA will work out great for both parties.

Very decent for gaming at reasonable resolutions including FPS gaming. Good audio (I have a loose speaker)

I got this laptop as a replacement for a 2 1/2 year old 17" HP as a "gift" so NewEgg won't show this review as written by someone that bought it, but I assure you I am writing this ON the laptop right now. I am impressed with the features of this...

Huge screen. Great video card. Lots of storage. Decent weight for an 18" laptop. Very stylish, very cool gradient finish to the lid. Great standard keyboard and great response from the keys. Best price of any 18" notebook out there

LOTS of bloatware. I counted 22 applications, plus 22 WildTangent games. Stuck/Dead pixel right in the middle of the screen. Very strange sound issues... it doesn't seem to separate left/right audio, and the right side of the laptop is VERY loud......

great laptop

 

Basically very pleased with this laptop, should do it's job for years to come. The lady fell in love with it as soon as I fired it up. I would easily recommend this laptop for someone in this price range.

Would be nice if the RAM would run at the 1066 specs, but unfortunately it's linked to the 800MHz FSB. This is the only reason why I couldn't give it 5 eggs

Stylish, quick, big screen is great for graphics and moving image, HD clarity, easy-to-follow instructions, loads of pre-loaded software.

A tad heavy even for it's size. battery life is not great.

Stylish - looks like a quality piece of equipment

Had Acer laptop previously but after about five years lines appeared down the monitor - starting with one and ending up with loads. Thought that was bad and hopefully this won't happen to my new laptop.
