Acer E5-553 NX.GESEK.003 8/1TB

Nice screen and keyboard. Nice quiet fan. While I would say this is not bad for the money I do have reservations.

While this laptop is ok for the money, it is not as fast as I expected. There are too many pre-installed applications that want to take control from the very start. Currently lost my start menu but don't know how.

Nice computing power with the quad processor and the 8Gb Ram

The graphics card is slightly underpowered for the rest of the computer

Robust to the touch with a nice design and a bright, colour rich screen.

The pre loaded software from both Acer and Microsoft ruin the performance of the laptop. After spending almost a day removing the unnecessary junk, some of it manually because they don't want it removed easily, the laptop then performed really well.

Good keyboard and pad. Screen size is good for me.

Battery dosnt seem to last as long as described.

Quick, large storage capacity, plenty of RAM. Just the ticket for an everyday laptop with an extra bit of kick in reserve.

Quality design. Attractive imitation carbon fiber casing. 7th gen APU works well with DDR4 for general computing.

Computer arrived crippled with bloatware and a fragmented HDD. Took hours to defrag. Average user would have blamed AMD processor as being 'slow'. Spindle HDD lets the system down. Swapped it out for SSD and now runs effortlessly.

Great screen, nice weight. Solid purchase overall.

Seems to get hot very quickly despite not running demanding programs. Bloatware was problematic.

It comes with a Radeon R5 graphics card that seems incompatible with Windows 10. It currently boots to a black screen because it's done a Windows update!

It's a great looking laptop and easy to use.

It's a bit slower than my old Samsung laptop.

Nice and sleek, textured finish is lovely, quite a fast little number and expandable memory up to 32gb ram if you need the boost.

Battery isn't great but when are they ever???
