I used SuperPpi to calculate pi to 2 million places.  With 47 processes running in normal performance this machine calculated Pi faster than any other machine I have seen in this class

The ASUS V6J is a reasonably compact thin-and-light notebook that has the added bonus of being quite powerful as well. There were some aspects that we disliked, but none were deal breakers and don't take much away from this impressive product.

The ASUS S6F represents a rarely seen combination of an exclusive exterior with a cutting-edge stuffing. Besides attracting curious glances, the leather surface of this notebook helps avoid scratches and cracks that might appear on a plastic surface....

Other features like the 1.3Megapixel web cam, built-in speakers should be thought of as basic features. Professional users will probably want to change the built-in HDD (Fujitsu 100GB 4200rpm) with something faster to get a performance boost.

After spending so many days benchmarking the ASUS A6JA, I can say that I am pleased with its performance. The Intel Core Duo, even if it only runs at 1.66Ghz, is quite powerful and won't let you down, even in the most demanding tasks. ATI's x1600...
