The Asus U80V is an all-purpose notebook with some visual surprises under the bonnet, including a touch-sensitive LED trackpad (altogether now: ‘Ooooooh! Ahhhhhh!'). The Asus U80V offers a good range of components and will run day-to-day applications...

The Asus U80V is an above-average all-purpose notebook with some interesting bells and whistles up its sleeve. It provides a solid performance, but its ultimate worthiness will depend on the UK retail price.

Asus U80V

 

Although it advertises 12 hrs of battery life, i can only get 10 hrs out of mine, but excellent compared to other laptops on the market! Especially the Sony Vaios which last around 2.5-3 hrs.

im needing a new laptop - and this one looks really good - but im worried about the battery life. i need it for uni and need some decent time. i'll most likely be only using word/internet. how long would it generally last?
