Netbook -Notebook

 

Configuration is ideal for size and carrying. Without modifications this will easily last 4 years by then I will be looking at quad core's, not pumping money into a machine that will rapidly lose its worth to about $150 after new years! I have windows...

This is the only netbook range portable PC I have seen with firewire, an ultimate requirement for people in the graghics and video business

I don't find the fan to be too loud, there is silent mode button that you can use. I'd rather have a fan than heat problems. I worried that 64bit OS would be a problem but so far all my XP 32 apps and devices work! Can't wait to upgrade to Win7. I...

I got this because I need a light weight portable laptop ; For this price and size you can't find another brand that competes. I considered the HP dv2z but it had a slower single amd processor, no firewire, no internal dvd drive, and heat related...

The 4 cell battery is the biggest con. Doesn't last long although it helps keep the weight down. You can purchase a better one at Averatec site. For me its not an issue since I run primarily off AC ; No HDMI out, not an issue for me ; I didn't like it...

Netbook convenience with A+ performance

 

Great laptop; size and convenience of a netbook without missing the performance. Highly recommended.

As a previous owner of Averatec 2300 series laptop, build quality on this model shows improvement. Snappy little laptop that while more expensive than a netbook, there is no comparison in performance and you won't be frustrated with the wait while...

Fan is much quieter than previous Averatec models (especially with AMD processors), but they were unreasonably loud. This one is somewhat louder than most in this processor range but tolerable
