Raon Digital Everun Note

Combine a netbook, an ultra-portable notebook, an MID and a UMPC and you have the Raon Digital Everun Note. Updated with video review.

Connectivity is decent for the size of the machine, too. Ethernet might be missing, but you do get three USB ports (two regular ones and one mini-USB), headphone and microphone jacks, VGA and, on the front, an SD Card reader and a SIM card slot. Before...

Raon Digital's tiny Everun Note reviewed

Don't call it a netbook. Placing Raon Digital's featherweight powerhouse up against relative monsters like the Eee PC or MSI Wind leaves you looking at a device that is tiny and fast, but at $879 is woefully overpriced. UMPC Portal was loaned one ...

Raon Digital Everun L30H

The Raon Everun L30H is an affordable, travel-friendly handheld PC, if you can look past performance woes and flawed navigating and typing experience.

Pocketable. Cheaper than other UMPCs on the market. Great battery life.

Mouse buttons and touch sensor aren't placed in the same orientation as the keyboard. RAM is maxed out at 512MB. Performance is crippled by very low-powered components. Keys are too small and impractical.

RAON Digital Everun S66HS

The S66HS isn't the fastest computer you'll ever use, nor the easiest. Yet if you want a full-featured PC in a compact size, this one is well worth looking into.

Small design fits easily into two hands ; Full-featured Windows XP Home computer ; Sharp screen at native resolution ; Power-saving toggle extends battery life ; All the connectivity options of a normal PC ; Built-in 802.11b/g and 3G HSDPA wireless...

Tiny keyboard hard to use, keys all the same size ; Screen orientation switches too easily ; Slow hard drive, shared memory and low RAM hit performance ; Graphics blurry in some resolutions ; No external volume control ; More complicated than many...

Such compromises are to be expected in a device designed for longevity, and on the whole the Everun provides a solid handheld PC experience. Built-in wireless makes it particularly useful in mobile applications; our test area was apparently outside the...

Review: Raon Digital Everun

I was among those interested from the get-go and have just spent the past month with an Everun kindly supplied to me by Dynamism to find out just how many steps Raon Digital had taken away from the Vega. Read on for my full review.

Business users and mobile professionals may want to look elsewhere, as the Everun's processor is ill suited for multitasking or running resource-heavy applications and the usability of the keyboard beyond URLs, user names, and passwords is questionable.
