Laptop is nice to use, quick and smooth.

Can't comment on battery life as only just bought it - silly question to ask now! Don't like the Sony wrap around software or pre-loaded anti virus - neither are needed and they make it difficult getting to the Microsoft bit you do need.

Had it now 2 weeks: Looks beautiful (I love the back lit keyboard) Fast Battery life is good Streaming works fine Quiet

The mouse pad does have a mind of its own - must be extra sensitive The adapter cable is very short Macafee's firewall stops you updating vaio - so make sure you turn it off. Windows 8 is awful!

Nice looking, neat laptop

Windows 8 ( I assume) is not very stable. Intermittent video problem when logging out. Screen flashing off and on and I think this is due to a bug in the Windows 8 screen driver. Would go for Windows 7 if I was starting again
