I bought this unit to run MythTV in the bedroom. It is small, quiet, and the ION2 graphics are easily powerful enough to display 720p and 1080i content. The fact it comes pre-installed with RAM and a hard drive at it's price level is great

Only con I can think of is the placement of the audio jacks for the phones / mic on top under a flap thing that pops up and hangs off the side. If you are going to be using this with external audio not via HDMI then it will look kind of messy
