Swapped out the single 4 GB for dual channel 8 GB kit Copied the OS image over to a Crucial SSD for the OS and then added a 4T Seagate Surveillance HD for video storage. I have a separate media/FTP server that I'm thinking of moving over to this...
Intel I7 Quad core for a reasonable price. Yes, it's a second Gen, but the processing power was plenty for my needs. 4 slots for Ram Win7 Pro 64-bit OS I'm running Blue Iris surveillance software for 3 IP Cameras on my property. Current CPU load hovers...
It might be a Pro for some, but mine came with the regular I7 2600. I specifically wanted the low power chip, because I'm using this as a 24/7 surveillance system for my IP Cameras. Because it's an OEM BIOS, I can't under-clock the system to reduce the...

I was looking to upgrade my home system and was looking for something that could also be used occasionally for "work from home". I'm not a gamer (I'm a programmer) so I didn't need a unit with high end video or massive storage. This unit fit the bill...
FYI-The supplied mouse and keyboard are in the "economy" category. I didn't buy the unit for the mouse and keyboard so no impact to my rating.

Great computer to compliment my current setup. I use remote desktop to access this powerful computer from my Chromebook so I don't have to be tethered to a desktop.
- Powerful - Good for SQL/Spreadsheets - East to upgrade to Windows 10 - No bloatware
- Had to buy a wireless adapter - Had to buy a VGA Cable

I panicked because there was no HDD detected when I first powered it on. The hdd drive cage was not clipped in place correctly and the cage shifted during shipping and tore free from the sata/power connector. There was no damage to the drive but this...
- comes with a recovery partition - comes with software to make a bootable USB from the recovery partition - fans were clean (no dust) - required drivers were part of the recovery
- hdd drive cage was not installed correctly, drive went flying and tore loose from the sata/power connector

It is a great computer if you are upgrading from a lower end computer. I came from stock generic Inspiron 560 to this. Huge leap. VALUE IS GREAT FOR PRICE. The i7 2600s is a powerhouse. for the price of one highest end cpu you get a full computer.
Refurbished = risk of earlier replacement (not always the case)

-i7 processor has plenty of power -Easily upgradable I installed an SSD Drive and a USB 3.0 PCI card and the computer flies. Throw in a video card and some more ram for a really great rig.
Could use a bit more RAM and a larger HDD, but those are easily upgraded

I would keep the mashine if they can at least send me a NIC card, but otherwise it has to be replaced, hopefully to no shipping cost to me. I would recommend it to another, though, as it really otherwise is a great PC
Well built, fast, works out of the box
NIC card not working - adapter says cable not plugged in, but it is and is working with another PC, same cable. Also, why is the NEWGG website so incredibly slow?

I had an old power supply sitting on the shelf, plugged right in and turned right on, so I was able to toss in the old geforce 460 graphics card in... 1.0 graphics rating turned into 7.4! Overall rating on the computer is 5.9, standard 5400rpm HDD. Get...
Nice mid-full sized tower, 3.3ghz i3, 4gb ddr in 1 stick of the 4 spaces on the mother board, 500gb HDD setup just as C drive. Under $200 shipped ; Enough room for my GTX 460: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121391 ; Top mount...
Video graphics are the worst possible, microsoft overall rating is 1.0 due to graphics. Weak power supply you only have 1x 4pin molex connection & 1x SATA power cable extra. And the 3.25 floppy power cable... Old i3 not a nice new i7

I bought this for my dad for a cheap pc that does not have to do any major processing. My only concern is how long it will last. It is pretty much what I expected.
It works fine. Windows 7 is loaded and is clear of bloatware. The packaging was good. Once I installed a SSD the computer ran quite fast
The fan did seem to have dust/dirt stuck to it. But the motherboard and other components seemed fine. The hard drive is small and seemed quite slow. Not much of an issue because I installed a SSD
