These are just like REG said in TAS: an $8,000 speaker that you can buy for a fraction of that price. Audition them in your home or studio and be amazed at all the detail and the music you've been missing out on by listening to so-called audiophile...

You want to keep listening to all of your favorite music all day long. Rock, classical, jazz it doesn't matter. Everything sounds so right that it's riveting

Slight roll-off of highs unless sitting right up next to the speakers. But, that is high they were designed to be listened to, since they are studio monitors. Bass rolls off if not placed against a wall, but can be easily augmented by subwoofer
