Naim Mu-so Qb

The Naim Mu-so Qb is an ultra-high-end wireless speaker. It would be a perfect fit for the Apple Store, with a premium design and big audio quality ambitions.

A wireless speaker that looks the part and has plenty of power for a rowdy house party.

Naim mu-so Qb compact wireless speaker: Beautiful design, soaring sticker price

This luxurious, compact wireless speaker offers very good sound quality and amazing design -- with a high price to match.

The Naim mu-so Qb is impeccably designed and looks every inch a $1,000 speaker. The Qb sounds great for a product of its impossibly compact dimensions. The number of inputs it offers is obscenely good.

Equivalent performance can be had with the Sonos Play:5 for half the price, and other high-end speakers can offer bigger, stereo sound. The app is nowhere as slick, capable or easy to use as Sonos'.

A luxurious wireless speaker with good sound and amazing design in a compact size, but it's not cheap.

Naim Mu-so QB

Above those popular conceptions of the wireless speaker lives in a select group of "high-end" models which start at about a grand in the US and continue climbing from there. In these loftier climes reside models you've never heard of, like the Devialet...

Mu-So Qb review

Big sound and stylish looks in a petite package

Stylish looks ; Small form factor ; Full and vibrant sound

Expensive ; Setup can be painful

There's no denying that Naim's Mu-So Qb makes a big impact, but its controls and setup can be frustrating, especially at this price.

Naim Mu-so Qb review

Huge sound and great connectivity from the latest addition to the Mu-so family...

Outstanding build ; Feature-packed ; Big, bold sound ; Decent detail ; Strong rhythmic know-how

Bass a little rich at high volume ; Could have a touch more insight through the midrange

A small speaker with big personality, the Qb combines style, substance and a whole lot of features at a more affordable price

Naim Mu-so Qb review: Mu-so's cubic heir is a square deal for wireless music lovers

Pound for pound, as good as the original Mu-so and a worthy rival for the Zepellin Wireless

It's one compact ; sexy ; cuboid ; Really good audio for the size ; Lots of connectivity options

Undeniably 'premium' pricing ; The big Mu-so's even better

Naim Mu-so Qb review: An all-round success

When the original Naim Mu-so launched in 2014, it was received with critical acclaim. Although it's a physically large bit of kit, it impressed us so much that it took the Pocket-lint Awards gong for best speaker in 2015. Sure, we'd not call the Qb a...

Smashing design, easy setup, multi-room setup possible, sound quality is outstanding - from bass, through to mids and highs

No separate remote in the box, multi-room app control could be better designed, it's not exactly cheap

Sure, we'd not call the Qb a budget speaker by any means, but its £595 price point is about as low as we thought we'd ever see from the Naim, um, name.

Naim Mu-so and Mu-so Qb review: music to my ears

These days, the names of Harman Kardon and Bose are becoming more and more prevalent, especially in tech and in cars, but they are hardly the only trusted Hi-Fi names in the audio market. And while Sonos has had a good head start in the wireless Wi-Fi...

Excellent audio quality, loud output without breaking ; Minimal and sleek design, uncluttered ports ; Works great in tandem with up to 5 Mu-so Qb's

Expensive price tag ; Lacks HDMI input

From the time I’ve spent with the Mu-so the sound quality is “music to my ears” – a gift that keeps on giving, even after years of being in the market and being challenged by newcomers almost every quarter. For something that has outstanding audio...

Naim Audio Mu-so Qb wireless speaker review: It sounds as beautiful as it looks, it just doesn’t get loud enough

It'll fill the smaller spaces in your home with sound, but you'll need its bigger sibling for the living room.

Beautifully musical performance ; Supports high-resolution audio streaming in multiple rooms ; Exquisite industrial design and build quality

Can’t fill larger rooms with sound ; Can’t sync multiple high-resolution audio streams ; A little expensive

If you own other Naim components and are looking to step up to a multi-room system, The Mu-so Qb is a no-brainer for the smaller rooms in your home (bedroom, dining room, and so on). It’s every bit as accurate as the larger Mu-so, but it’s much more...

Naim mu-so Qb compact wireless speaker: Beautiful design, soaring sticker price

What comes to mind when you think of the term "wireless speaker"? Is it a $50 Bluetooth speaker? Maybe the $200 Bose SoundLink Mini? Or perhaps something even higher quality like the $500 Sonos Play:5?
