Heats up very quickly, brilliant for heavy duty material like jeans. Light to use, and do not have to keep filling up with water. lovely. This my third steam generator in 12 years. Would NOT go back to an ordinary iron ever.

The only downside is that ironing boards do not cope very well with the steam generator type iron

Easy to use, light weight, easy water fill. Shortens ironing time by half!

The filter, you have to change this at regular intervals to lengthen the life of the iron. Can work out costly.

Large capacity for water, lasts a long time

Cord from iron rather stiff would be better if it was more flexible
