Philips GC4520

A really good product which makes ironing almost a pleasurable experience.

Iron is very good does not drip and steams clothes to make irononig them easier. Very good.

Had to buy a new iron as the last one lost strength! This one is slightly hotter but not as hot as I would like. All modern irons are pathetic. Occasionally I use a thirty year old inherited Murphy Richards which is hotter but no steam facility! Better...

This is the second Phillips iron I have bought. I am as pleased with this one as I was the last. Very good quality iron with a very good steam system. The only niggle I have got is with the instructions? Very unclear and probably poorly translated -...

Quite a heavy iron to use which I like. Downside the cord is short and you have to stand near an electric socket or use an extension cable. I also find the spray button hard to use when you're ironing, you have to stop and use two fingers to press down...

Performs well. Only criticism is that power lead could be longer, (it seems to be a trend that irons have shorter leads than they used too)

No issues so far, everything is crease free. The real test will be how it deals with hard water but you can't review that straight away

I bought this iron about a month ago to replace another iron which I bought from Tesco and it was also a Phillips.I find this iron cable shorter than the previous and when you use it it starts to pull plug out of wall .iron itself irons beautifully...

..also wire well designed as the wire has failed in last few irons I have had.

I bought this for my mother, who wanted an iron with lots of steam. Although it didn't quite meet her needs, she was pleased with its performance. A good looking iron, too!
