There appears to be sometthing rattling around in the base of this iron, maybe a screw or something and i'm guessing this is a one off. However it is working perfectly so will keep an eye on this for now.

Irons well, with or without steam.

Heavier than expected.

Easy to use. Standard weight iron, but a little heavier than my last 'cheapo' iron.

Temperature dial/settings not as clearly explained in instruction leaflet as I would like. Fairly short cable, but not a problem as I use an extension lead.

excellent value for money. I stopped using my previous rather more expensive steam iron simply because it did not do the job of giving sufficient steam, with this Tricity model creases removed first time.
