Homecast HT8000 high-definition PVR

Firmware updates all in place, HDD errors after 11 months. Replaced under warranty now 6 months on another HDD problem despite plenty of ventilation. Timers wont start and if they do they dont stop. Timers wont start if your watching in time shift....

For some reason it won't record or even save the things I am currently watching (you know how you can rewind etc). I've read the manual and I can't figure it out. It is set to PVT mode. Im stumped, can anybody help?

I have a HT8000, and it has been working fine, with the firmware update improving a number of the original bugs.

Had this for 12 months or more now and generally happy with the playback quality, it produces a brilliant HD image on my Grundig LCD and recording and playback functions have worked reliably. File transfers are a little clunky (PVR to PC) this was a...

i had enough and took it back for a refund after store replaced it 3 times

I'll be looking for something better soon.

Works great since firmware upgrade via usb stick, need to surf the web to find better instructions and bug fixes
